Yesterday was the big day for Hannah. 

 She got her braces off!

I think she looks absolutely beautiful, of course I am just a little biased.

~Finally a new post~

I know I haven't posted anything on the blog in days, really it's been months. So I thought it was about time to take a good look at why.  So I decided to change what I don't like and keep what I do.  I have been doing a little research (something I love to do) and have come up with a plan.  I want to concentrate on doing posts about everything I love:  home design, diy, finding and sharing great deals, tips on blogging, hopefully some interviews from favorite blogger's and I can't leave out the happenings going on at my house. 

The food, the entertaining and of course the holidays, etc...

I also want to keep in mind that I started this blog to show my teenage daughter, which whom this blog was named after, that you CAN do anything you set your mind to as long as you stay dedicated and focused on what you want!

Best night of her life!!!!

Last week Hannah and I along with one of Hannah's friends went to the One Direction concert at Staples Center in L.A..  It was awesome according to the girls.  "The best night of my life" Hannah said!!!  It took me a few days to regain my hearing but  other then that I thought it was pretty fun as well.  More importantly the girls had so much fun singing, screaming and swooning a bit at the cute boys on stage.

Here they are getting pumped up for the concert.  This was before T-shirts were purchased.

Had to take pictures of dinner. Yummy!

Exciting Mail...

We received the new 2014 IKEA catalog yesterday!  It's always a Summertime treat when the new Ikea catalog comes in the mail.  I found a few new things that caught my eye!

Love, love , love this bed for a teenage boys room, just look at those drawers for storage, aaahhh!
