~It's Flower Day!~
Really it's "May Day". I love this day. There is always something about little bouquets of flowers that I have always loved. I hope everyone is enjoying their "May Day" or as we call it "Flower Day" here!

~Spring has Come~
It is finally here. My favorite season of the year. Everything is new, clean and bright. It makes me want to jump right in and start cleaning, organizing and start new projects. Yea!

~It's that time of year again~
YES!!! It's daylight saving time again. I love having an extra hour of daylight. It means Spring is coming. It means you can do more everyday. It means more bbq-ing. It means baseball is here. It means flowers will be blooming. I know you lose an hour of sleep but what you get in return is priceless to me.
Who else loves it when we spring forward?

It's May Day!!!
I love "May Day"! I love the sweet tradition of leaving May Day flowers on someones doorstep. It is so fun to find a little posie or two at your door! So I decided to do just that and leave a few pretty blooms at my friends front doors. Here is how it went:
I got the buckets from Target for a $1.00 and the oasis from Joann's.

I made the May Day cards
I bought the beautiful flowers from Trader Joe's, you can't beat Trader's
Arranged the flowers and tied the card on with ribbon
The left over flowers were put in Hannah's room
I hope everyone is having a glorious May Day 2012!

Birthday Party Time!
It was time for the big Daddies birthday and I had to get some photos because we had so much fun celebrating!
We had his favorite dinner, which every birthday person in our family gets to pick the menu on their day and of course cupcakes to sing Happy Birthday. We had a very small intimate family party for 4!

~Gorgeous Lilacs~
I am just doing a quick post today. Things are crazy around here, with the kids birthday's and parties, baseball tournaments, the end of the school year winding down-that means the teachers are piling on last minute work/projects (what are they thinking?) and studing for final exams. There isn't alot of time to even think. I am working on getting the pictures ready to post on Hannah's birthday party which we had last weekend and was quite a success, if I say so myself.
So here are some "Lilacs" to look at and hopefully there beauty will take you to a peaceful-calm place like it does me. I need it for sure right now!
