Yummy Banana Muffins

Well, we had some bananas that were brown (really black) so I decided to not throw them away and make something delicious instead with them.  They turned out pretty tasty.

It's time for Milk & Cookies...

I had to share this darling idea for a party.  It's a Milk & Cookies baby shower party!  I ran across this from a blog I follow called "A Thoughtful Place", where Courtney the author of the blog saw the idea and shared it from the blog "Our Daily Obsessions"  .  I am trying so hard to figure out how or who to throw a party for so I can do the "Milk & Cookies theme.  I love it, it is adorable and looks delicious!

Birthday Party Time!

It was time for the big Daddies birthday and I had to get some photos because we had so much fun celebrating!
We had his favorite dinner, which every birthday person in our family gets to pick the menu on their day and of course cupcakes to sing Happy Birthday.  We had a very small intimate family party for 4!

Brownies...

We made brownies today so I thought I would work on my photo editing with a picture of the delicious morsels.  Sooo Goood!

~Christmas Cookie idea~

I know, I know, I am doing a post about about Christmas cookies on November 8th but I saw this idea on pinterest and thought it was soooo great I just had to share...

All you do is make up a batch of your favorite cookie dough, wrap in parchment then print the recipe and attach to the parchment, tie pretty ribbon on the ends.  Voila, an adorable gift for the holidays!!!

The Best Chocolate Chip Cookies Ever!

I had to make some chocolate chip cookies the other day (because I was having a craving for them) and thought I would share the best chocolate chip cookie recipe I have ever known.  I have tried my share of other chocolate chip cookie recipes and this is by far the best and the very first one I ever made.  I think I was a wee kid at my mom's house when I first started making these and I believe they are a recipe from my sister's sister-in-law, it's been so long I am not sure anymore.  My kids love them and tell me each time I bake them these are their favorite cookies ever!!!  Here are some pictures of them because I am trying to work on my photography skills and the recipe follows.
